Willow | Two Piece Boucle Pet Sofa Bed with Removable Cushion and Hidden Zips for Dogs and Cats

The Willow is built as two separate pieces. The base carries the raised walls that run around the back and sides, and the middle cushion sits inside it as its own piece. That split is what makes the bed practical day to day: the cushion lifts out on its own, turns over when one side has taken a week of naps, and cleans without pulling the whole bed apart.

Each piece has its own padding that slides in through a zip along the underside. Once the bed is sitting on the floor those zips face down and disappear, so from every angle there is boucle and nothing else. It is a small detail that keeps the bed looking like furniture rather than pet gear parked in the corner of a room.

It is not a folding bed. Instead it travels by coming apart: the padding slides out of both pieces and the covers pack down flat into a bag or a boot, then take about a minute to rebuild at the other end. The same trick makes washing simple, since the empty covers go in the machine and the padding stays dry.

• Build: two pieces, a walled base and a separate middle cushion
• Filling: padding inserts through a zip on the underside of each piece
• Zips: hidden underneath, nothing visible from the outside
• Cover material: boucle fabric, removable and machine washable
• Travel: padding lifts out so the covers pack flat, rebuild in about a minute
• Suited to: dogs and cats that sleep against a raised edge
